Gratitude is the quality of being thankful and the readiness to show appreciation for it and to return kindness.  It means that you are feeling pleased with something and with the results thereof.

” If you concentrate on finding whatever is good in

every situation,  you will discover that your life will

suddenly be filled with gratitude,

a feeling that nurtures the soul”  Rabbi Harold Kushner

Just by saying the word GRATITUDE,   I start to feel that my body, my heart and whole being opens up and start to relax.  Gratitude is the state of openness –  it means your heart opens up to love, joy and peace.  Gratitude opens up a door so that we can reconnect with our aliveness,  our Source of Life Force.  You become aware of your connection with your inner Source of wellbeing and you start to feel more positive energy, love and appreciation towards yourself and others.

“Let us rise up and be thankful,  for if we didn’t learn a lot today,

at least we learned a little,  and if we didn’t learn a little,

at least we didn’t get sick,  and if we got sick,

at least we didn’t die;

so,  let us all be thankful”    Buddha
